Well, I like the game a lot, but once I've beaten the game and unlocked all of the Achievements (something that is NOT difficult for the most part), I will never play it again. Here's why:
1) The Quests have no real reward. Yeah, you gain Renown, Alignment points, and occasionally an item/gold/a love interest, but after a while, you won't need any of these things. Not one item or special weapon I've gotten has been varied or interesting enough to warrant continued use against these ridiculously-easy enemies, I now make more money from Real Estate than I could ever make from a quest or job, and I've already got two wives and damn near everyone in Albion is madly in love with me...so I'm not hurting for companionship.
2) Marriage boasts very few rewards. Yes, if your wife likes you, she'll give you free gifts, but most of these things equate to stuff that wasn't hard to find once I left the first town. The best thing that I enjoy receiving from my wives are XP potions, but I can walk into any store I want and buy out the whole stock without putting a dent in my finances.
On the other hand, marriage is the most cumbersome thing I've ever done (yes, I'm well aware of the irony of that statement). To keep my family happy, I have to constantly drag my ass back from whatever I was doing in order to spend some time with them. And since most Quests/Missions take me to places which take 3 - 5 days to travel, I usually have to scramble back to the family in order to make sure that I don't get slapped with a hasty divorce. And to make matters worse, I've now got two wives (just to satisfy the Bigamist achievement).
I've yet to be divorced, but from what I've heard online, it can happy quite randomly for keeping your family unhappy in even one area. And I'm not in a hurry to lose half of the money I've accumulated.
3) Exploration is a joke. Go here, hear dog bark, and dig. *Yawn*
