Wolfwyck Master Wandmakers
In between projects and paid jobs and...well, work...I decided to start making things with my son for the fun of doing stuff together. To that end, I came across a great site with some cool tutorials for dads and their kids. One of them was making Harry Potter style wands. I think we all know I'm a huge HP fan, so...I got all the stuff we needed and AJ and I sat down to make some stuff....and then it got bigger as I started getting requests from people who had seen them.
So I started a small company. Wolfwyck Master Wandmakers, creating unique Wizarding and Fantasy Implements for your magical, cosplaying and roleplaying uses.
Figured I'd share some pictures since the site isn't up yet.
This is the wand I made for myself. "Hawthorn and Thestral Hair, 15 3/4 inches"
And I tried a couple replicas of Harry's and Draco's wands...
And the main attraction, all the unique designs I'm making...
So yeah, I'm now doing this as a bit of a business, so if you love HP like I do(and Evil does as he's already ordered his), let me know. Every wand is 100% unique. They're $15 each, plus $5 or $10 if you want a box(there are 2 box styles), plus shipping.
Either way, hope you like em. So far, they're being highly praised and they are far more creative than most of the wooden wandmakers you see out there trying to capitalize on HP and charging 35 or more for a boring wand style. Mine are more like the ones from the movies...
