Selling my NES

I'm thinking of selling my NES action set (complete). Trying to figure out what a reasonable starting asking price would be. Works alright but has the usual quirks. I'm using craigslist though, fuck ebay I'm too lazy.

Only 4 now: Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt / World Class Track Meet, Rygar, Dragon Warrior, T&C Surf Designs.

I posted it asking for $60. Some guy offered $50 and I was okay with that. He claimed he was "seriously interested" but after working out most of the details, the next day I didn't hear anything back. Oh well.

That's a typical occurence on Craigslist. I had to go through seven potential buyers before I could finally unload an entertainment set for $25.

And I thought an original Dragon Warrior cartridge was worth good coin on its own, but I guess that's Dragon Warrior IV.

Not to be offensive, but, thats some bare bones line up. I think I topped my collection at 20 games at least and I was a brown, fat, short sighted little fucker in a third world country.

I mean, no Mario Bros 2 or Mappy Land?

For shame!

I sold all my old NES games from way back when unfortunately. This is actually my second NES, too. Got it cheap at a yard sale awhile back, couldn't pass it up.

I actually have a friend that might want it, I should check. Just don't want to charge him too much for it obviously.

You should just buy Mappy Land and then sell it. Just because you have to. Mappy Land should be sold with every single NES. Maybe Adventures of Lolo too.

Well now I've got someone willing to pay through paypal to have something else I'm selling shipped to them. They said they can send the money today...so I don't really see the risk if I'm getting paid first. Unless there's more to it than that...I don't want to be scammed here. Tips?

There's something about hooking up a NES to a flatscreen TV that I love. It's like a technological bond between technologies of different worlds. I love it

It's just too bad light guns only work on on CRTs.

You know Wiis are great when it comes to classic gaming. You can also use component cables to hook them up to a newer TV and it looks awesome.

You should find a copy of that one NES game that's super rare that everyone shits themselves over when they see it online. Whatever that stupid track and meet racing game is called.
