Perfect Dark: A classic returns onto Xbox Live.

I'm surprised there's no thread on this already. Microsoft has released a remake of the N64 successor to Golden Eye on XBLA for only 800 points. Given a slightly touched up look, online multiplayer, and retaining all the old features of the original game I can't see why any old school gamer wouldn't want to play this title.

I've been waiting for this since Rare was bought by Microsoft and this dream has finally come true. Now if only I could get news of a Legend of Dragoon sequel will I truly believe in miracles...

So who else plans on getting this? We should try and get some games in sometime.

You know, I always wanted to play this and I never got around to it in the N64 days. I could care less about the visuals being dated, but I've known a few people who just throw out playing anything not current-gen (my roommate does this - it annoys me) because of the blah graphics. I just played the original Half Life but it was still great even though it looked like dump.

That's pretty awesome. I have 800 points left as well so maybe I'll pick this up. There are some pretty sweet DLCs for Fallout though. I still remember playing this game for the first time. It was so far a head of the game in terms of gameplay and graphics for consoles. It was a shame the FPS was like 30 at best, but I looks like they've fixed that.

It's just one of those things where taking a jump backwards is less fulfilling. I find that even after playing games with superb graphics, and then going back to games that aren't even that old makes me unpleased.
