Square-Enix is on the ball lately. Chrono Trigger DS was just unveiled in Japan last night, and now the company has sent out a press release saying that North America will get it this holiday season. We even get our own countdown site! The press release said it takes advantage of the dual-screen/touch functionality, and that there is a brand new dungeon and wireless play. Please, remember this is a rumor. According to what is a supposed scan of this week’s Jump, Square-Enix has unveiled Chrono Trigger for the DS, another classic brought back to life. According to this “leaked” scan, it will not be upgraded to the extent of Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy IV, but it will be an enhanced port and will hit Japan this winter.
