Square-Enix has put up a series of interviews with the director of Crisis Core, Hajime Tabata on their member’s site. They cover things like his insipiration when designing games, the world of Crisis Core and Final Fantasy VII as a whole, and the development of the PSP game. It’s an interesting look into the mind of Tabata and how he looks at the creation of Crisis Core. He even goes into what he’s most satisfied with after finally finishing the game. Continue Reading

Square-Enix has announced that the newest part of the Final Fantasy VII universe, Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- for the PSP, has shipped to stores in North America. While the other game in the Final Fantasy VII Compendium that made it stateside, Dirge of Cerberus, was heavily criticized, some fans are hoping Crisis Core washes away those memories of mediocrity. This week, Square-Enix releases Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- for the PSP in North America. There are a few things new in the game (like the addition of a hard mode), but what about the things that had to be scrapped during development, such as a multiplayer mode?

Square-Enix has now released the final ‘episode’ as part of their advertising for another part of the FFVII Compilation, Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-. Instead of this one focusing on characters like the previous two, the new trailer shows off some CG and some gameplay from the upcoming title. We’ll see how it turns out when the game’s released March 25th. Watch the trailer after the break.
