Kotaku has a handful of questions for Jay Wilson, one of the hands in creating Diablo 3. Many of these may seem common-sense, but I always enjoy hearing about the Diablo plot! No mention on if Battle.net will turn pay-to-play yet, though. Read on for the link! Continue Reading

Yes, console owners, looks like you have another reason to make use of your PC. In an interview with Joystiq, Jay Wilson, Diablo 3’s lead designer, stated that there are no plans to release the game on consoles. That sounds like unfortunate news, but it’s not that bad. Besides, don’t we all remember one of Blizzard’s last entries on a console, Starcraft 64? Yeah, it seems PC is the way to go. Link to the full interview after the jump.

So Blizzard has purchased the Diablo3.com domain name from Mike Barr, who had been using it as a fansite for Diablo. So this is great news, right? Not so fast, buddy. Mike, or as he is known on the (now) Diablofans.com forums, Mockery says that Blizzard has told him that this isn’t an announcement of Diablo 3. However he does add that he “can’t help but think that this is a confirmation of sorts that they’re working on the next Diablo game”. Let’s certainly hope so.
