A new Phantasy Star game for the Nintendo DS was announced in Famitsu’s latest magazine. Sega stated that the new title, Phantasy Star Zero, will support up to four players, have multi-player WiFi capabilities, and even a nifty feature for players to be able to draw sketches within the chat system. Phantasy Star Portable was released in Japan a couple of months ago, and it is selling very well (500,000 copies shipped after the first week it was in stores), so there is a bright future for this Phantasy Star title for a possible release elsewhere. Phantasy Star Zero will be out in Japan this winter.
Edit: According to TheMagicBox.com, Phantasy Star Zero is a prequel to Phantasy Star Online. Fun stuff.

Most of us are used to Bioware’s Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect games, and the older crowd even remembers Baldur’s Gate. I still remember when they said they were doing a Sonic RPG. We all have our questions - but for one of the first official Q&A sessions about Sonic Chronicles, move beyond the jump. Continue Reading

Crazy, crazy Izuna. Listen, we like you no matter what you do…even if you are flashing the goods on posters all over the ‘net. First it’s with Amazon, totally showing off “the goods”. Now it’s GameStop is giving away posters with pre-order. Of course, any gamer that preorders and gets the less risque poster is just proving that they have more of a chance of getting a real girl to come (and stay) over. Check out this poster past the break. Continue Reading
