That’s right, Atlus USA will serve as the exclusive North American distributor for three of NIS America’s games: Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice, Disgaea DS, and Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure. The two companies have had a good relationship, so this just more good news. Release dates are also confirmed, Disgaea 3 will come August 26th, and Disgaea DS / Rhapsody will be released on September 23rd. Read on for the PR and official boxarts.

NIS America has recently launched the official site for the upcoming PS3 title, Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. The site has character profiles, screenshots, and some story information for people to check out. While the website launch is good news, there’s also something even better. If you check GameStop’s site, you’ll see that the upcoming game is $49.99, $10 cheaper than the average PS3 title. Maybe that will push gamers in the direction of picking this one up. NIS America recently sent out word that they will be attending this year’s Anime Expo 2008, which is running in L.A. from July 3rd to July 6th. They will have a Disgaea cosplay contest, demos of their upcoming games, and some special guests signing autographs. Most of the information was standard fare, but they managed to sneak in a little tidbit of information about their upcoming plans.

NIS America continues their tradition of bringing us Gust games, this time in the form of Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis. For those that do not know, this game is a new entry in the Atelier series. While it is only the fourth game to be localized, it is actually the ninth Atelier title in Japan. NIS America has announced that the newest PS2 RPG from Gust, Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis, has now shipped to retailers in North America. This game shipped in a special package that includes the original soundtrack, a quick synthesis chart, and a full color mini poster nicely boxed in a premium cover. We’re closing in on the release of NIS America’s newest PS2 title, Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s developed by Gust (Ar Tonelico, Atelier Iris).
