Sega has announced that Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, BioWare’s new RPG for the DS, now has its own spot on the internet. The site is actually not your standard site, as it’s essentially the DS game in website form. Use the mouse controlled stylus to move Sonic around, talk to characters, and find information on the game. If this is how Sonic will be controlled, the game doesn’t seem it will be as bad as people think, let’s just hope it’s a bit smoother. Link after the break.

I’m not going to lie to you guys, when I first heard about the Sonic the Hedgehog RPG for the DS I thought, “This won’t end well”. Then I heard that Bioware was developing and I got a bit more interested. Now the official site for the game (now titled Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood) has opened and I have to say after looking around at some of the screenshots there that I’m actually quite excited for this game. Maybe it’s just that it brings back memories of the Nintendo/Square collaboration that was Super Mario RPG. Or maybe it’s that I love a 2D Sonic more than anything else. I guess it’s just another case of “two great tastes taste good together”. Well, the Sonic taste is great if you forget everything that came out after Sonic Adventure.
